What to Do at ATL

Shops & Lifestyle Stores

  • Montblanc – Concourse E, luxury watch/pen/leather store-for premium travel accessories.
  • L’Occitane – Concourse C, for premium skincare and fragrance items — nice stop before boarding.
  • Duty-free shopping: at the International Terminal (Concourse F) where a great number of foreign brands are limited to buy without tax before departure.

Other Activities

  • Spa/massage: XpresSpa has two locations at Concourse C and E that provide foot/leg, facial treatments, grooming which is very handy in the event of a long layover.
  • Art display: The Zimbabwe Sculpture group, which is a collection of sculpture in the tunnel between concourses of the Transportation Mall, provides a cultural break.
  • Airport train/moving walkways: For fun, explore the Plane Train tunnel and moving walkways — it’s a part of the ATL experience.
  • Kids and family areas: ATL does not have a significant themed kid zone but family-friendly seating areas can be found in different areas around the Atrium and concourse intersections.

Restaurants & Cafes

  • Chicken + Beer - Concourse D, operation: Chicken + Beer is a relaxed company in the sports-bar setting with modern Southern comfort cuisine (such as chicken and waffles).
  • Concourse E (International) One Flew South, luxury dining with sushi + Southern fusion food, better on longer layovers.
  • Grindhouse Killer Burgers - Concourse T, counter-service selling a high end burger meal; a quick meal to eat then off to your next flight.

Lounges / Relax Spots

  • Delta Sky Club – multiple locations across ATL (A, B, C, D, E, F); for Delta or premium card-holders; newly upgraded facility in Concourse D offering expansive runway views.
  • The Club ATL – in Concourse F mezzanine; accessible by pay-per-use; showers & runway views included.

Suggested Layover Itineraries

3-hour layover (airport-only)

5-6-hour layover (short city loop)

Take the airport station of the MARTA rail (which is next to Domestic Terminal) and alight at Arts Centre stop (GM: 25 mins). Take a coffee break in downtown, stroll over Centennial Olympic Park, and board MARTA back to ATL, so that one can have at least 90 minutes to re-enter.
